Kinderpedia in 2025: how we helped schools get ready for what comes next

2025 was a year of accelerated consolidation.

In an increasingly complex educational environment, shaped by higher expectations, new pressures and rapid change, we focused on one essential goal: helping schools feel ready for what comes next.

It was a year in which we listened more closely than ever to our community, removed friction from everyday work, and built solutions that bring clarity where there was once overload. A year in which we chose real impact over noise.

Looking back at product roadmaps, conversations with teachers, school leaders and parents, one thing becomes clear: 2025 laid the foundations for a new pace. A pace that allows schools to move forward with greater confidence, structure and trust.

This article is about how we did that - and why we believe 2026 will be the year these foundations matter even more.

Delivering what the community asked for and more

2025 marked a new level of maturity for the Kinderpedia platform.

We built features grounded in real-life situations, experienced every day in schools.

The Incidents & Accidents module was developed in response to a clear need: fast, complete and non-dramatic documentation of sensitive situations. Teachers can log an incident in seconds, the team validates it, and parents receive clear, professional communication. The process is designed to calm situations - not escalate them - and to support better outcomes for everyone involved.

At the same time, we saw a genuine demand from the community to integrate AI where teachers lose the most time: drafting messages, finding the right words and structuring ideas. AI-powered Quick Messages do exactly that - turning a simple input into a clear, well-articulated message for parents, quickly and safely.

Child Development Reports give educators a clear framework for progress reporting, reducing time spent staring at a blank document and freeing up space for what cannot be automated: the relationship with the child.

Child Portfolio brought much-needed order for both teachers and parents. Each child’s portfolio is now organised into clear folders - files, images and materials - making progress easy to follow and understand. Teachers find information instantly, parents gain a clearer view of their child’s journey, and school leaders can track development without digging through scattered documents.

KinderpediaIntegrations

A connected ecosystem: fewer tools, clearer workflows

When technology operates in isolation, it slows people down. In 2025, we set out to open Kinderpedia to the wider educational and administrative ecosystem.

Through Make, schools can now build their own workflows — from admissions to invoicing — without code and without manual steps. Automation brings structure where fragmentation once existed.

Native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Kommo, Pipedrive and OpenApply give institutions a complete view of their relationship with each family, from first contact to enrolment. This is the first year in which these CRMs and Kinderpedia truly function as one coherent system.

On the financial side, online payments in Angola and SAF-T fiscal compliance in Portugal raised the platform to a new level of operational continuity — regardless of country.

Scaling beyond borders

2025 was the year we accelerated beyond our comfort zone.

Beyond Romania — a familiar market where we are already a trusted partner — we carried the Kinderpedia experience further.

In the Middle East and Africa, we strengthened our presence through trust and referrals, working with international schools, hybrid systems and educational networks. We adapted language and user experience so the platform feels familiar, regardless of culture.

In LATAM, adoption came quickly. Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Panama and Mexico are dynamic markets with real needs for administrative structure and clearer communication. There, Kinderpedia found fertile ground and a healthy growth rhythm.

Today, we speak of a responsible presence in 35 countries, bringing together a community of over half a million teachers, students, parents and education leaders.

Two schools welcomed us behind the scenes

Each year, we document success stories from our community — not just as internal inspiration, but as real-world reference points for those discovering Kinderpedia.

In 2025, our case study library grew with two on-location video stories: Maple Bear Cluj and Evrika Primary School. We spent several days alongside their teams, listening to challenges, transformations and moments of growth. If we could film every school, we would — because every Kinderpedia adoption tells a clear story of change.

Community voices placed us back on global EdTech rankings

Community feedback once again placed Kinderpedia among international EdTech leaders. In 2025, authentic reviews earned us recognition on Capterra, GetApp and G2, across School Management, Classroom Management and Daycare categories. For us, these distinctions are more than visibility. They validate the trust schools and kindergartens place in Kinderpedia - and reinforce our responsibility to keep building thoughtfully.

Being present in the conversations shaping education

Kinderpedia2025

Internationally, we joined spaces where educational conversations truly matter. At The School & Nursery Show Dubai, Evelina spoke on two stages about the role of AI in schools and the importance of intentional technology use. At the Maple Bear Academic Conference in Sofia, discussions focused on educational leadership and organisational culture in global school networks. At COBIS in London, Daniel represented Kinderpedia in one of the most influential international education forums, contributing to the dialogue around the global teacher shortage.

Locally, we stayed close to the schools and educators driving change in Romania. The Private Schools Association hosted its annual conference in Cluj-Napoca, centred on the teacher’s role in digitalisation. Iulia Moldovan’s voice reminded us all of the importance of balance between pressure and presence. At Oana Moraru’s conference in Bucharest, the themes of attention and listening brought together hundreds of parents and teachers. In Timișoara, the event School as Experience: From Click to Connection, organised with InEdu, highlighted technology as meaningful support. At Roots for the Future, organised by the First7 community and Acorns Kindergarten, we explored leadership in early education and the educator’s role in shaping first learning experiences.

For the online community, we continued our series of open webinars for educators. Together with ASP, we hosted sessions on organisational culture and cybersecurity, alongside specialists from TrendConsult, Black Bullet and SGA Attorneys. These sessions offered leaders and teachers practical resources and up-to-date perspectives on two critical topics in contemporary education.

When the wider ecosystem starts to notice

2025 was also the year our work was recognised beyond the Kinderpedia community. Sifted, part of the Financial Times, included us in the Top 100 Fastest-Growing Startups in DACH & CEE, recognising both our growth pace and product consistency.

National business media also brought meaningful recognition. Daniel Rogoz’s profile in Business Magazin highlighted conversations around founder DNA, courage and resilience, while Evelina Necula’s interview in Ziarul Financiar focused on what truly matters: over 500,000 teachers, parents and students using Kinderpedia every day for clarity, time and connection. Revista Biz also featured Kinderpedia as an example of technology that creates real value in schools — not just operational efficiency.

These appearances remind us that educational transformation is being seen, valued and supported beyond the community we serve.

Making space for performance beyond the office

Kinderpedia2025

In 2025, we were reminded that performance needs balance.

The Kinderpedia team ranked in the top 10 in the Run for Your Brand competition, with three colleagues surpassing 1,000,000 steps in ten days - exactly 1,044,555 steps. Beyond rankings, we gained stronger bonds and new friendships.

The same spirit showed up elsewhere: national results in Time Attack racing, first marathons, first place in the 10 km cross-country race at the Buzău Half Marathon. Different forms of performance, the same culture: discipline, energy and the joy of doing things together.

Looking ahead: ready to accelerate

2025 built momentum.
2026 is about using it.

Attention gives direction. Energy is fuel. And well-built technology doesn’t exhaust people - it gives them time and clarity. With this belief, we enter the new year curious, prepared, and guided by the same question:

What can we do today to give teachers more time and learning more meaning for children?

Because no matter how disruptive the future becomes, education remains a story about people. And we are here to write it together.
